CFH-HAB. Augustus MALTBY, b. Dec. 1818 (Augustus W.5, Stephen 4, Benj.3, Dan.2, Wm.1.). m. in 1843, Eliza COSAD, of Dundee, N.Y. He d. about 1892 at St. Petersburg (N.Y. or Florida ?)

(Letters returned),

His uncle, George Williams Maltby, said he was unmarried and had prodably died as all letters were returned. Later a descendant of Stephen Maltby wrote: "Theodore George went to Florida, Orange Groves on Tampa Bay. Visited G. Ellsworth Maltby about 1878." Vol. II Yates Co. Hist. by Cleveland says Augustus Maltby & Samuel Huson, b. 1801, s. Nath. & Anna (Spink) were partners at Dundee, N.Y.
